On 15th-16th and 22nd-23rd of October the best and the newest Polish short films, animations and documentaries will be presented in Café 1001. Admission FREE.
Play Poland Film Festival has arrived in London. During four evenings we will present a selection of new, intriguing Polish feature shorts, documentaries and animations. It will be a great opportunity to see rare pieces by the new generation of Polish filmmakers; many have already been feted and rewarded at other international film festivals.
The highlights of our programme are films from Wajda School, including one that presents a true and intimate portrait of the Master of Polish cinema himself. We will be screening mind-blowing animation works from Platige Image, featuring Tomek Baginski, Michal Socha, feature shorts from Krzysztof Kieślowski Radio and Television Faculty and Polish well known festivals: Film Festival Film Mountain and T-Mobile New Horizons IFF.
We have chosen a fantastic venue - Café 1001 - in the heart of London's East End, where in a very relaxed atmosphere, on a comfy sofa you can get a taste of Polish Cinema.
Come and be a part of it on the: 15-16 and 22-23 of October 2012 at 7:30pm in Cafe 1001 (91 Brick Lane London, E1 6QL, ROOM 2).
Admission FREE. Further information can be found on our website: www.playpoland.org.uk/london.html
