An intimate film focused on one person and the modest world that surrounds him. The central character is a lonely man who works as a level-crossing keeper in a place where almost nobody crosses the tracks and none of the trains make a stop. His only entertainment is playing the trumpet. However, the day dawns when the Railway Watchman encounters an opportunity to transform his rather monotonous life.
